We visited our little foal today, she is growing up so fast and becoming very tame, she will feed out of your hand and even lets my mum give her cuddles .... we finally decided on the name "Edie" for her, we have always had a soft spot for Little Edie from Grey Gardens and also
Edie Sedgwick ... she really is the most adorable foal.
My mum also has some other new additions, some little baby birds which she breeds and hand rears .... such funny little things, they are spoon fed and already so tame ....
this is the dad of one of them ....
.... and this is mum of the other two ... so they will become a lot more attractive with age.
We're off to see this play tomorrow night at Sydney Theatre Company .... it stars Ewan Leslie who I mentioned at the end of this post .... looking forward to watching him again, has anyone seen it yet ?

We tried to talk Phil into a little foal and Mimi and I got nowhere were trying to get over it...what a sweet face! You have a little love there.

This is the first time I am seeing a baby parrot (even a photo of it!)They are so cute and ugly at the same time. The spoon, the spoon is funny :)) Thanks for sharing

I love that you chose the name Edie. Little Edie is one of my heroes. My daughter Mae, dances like Little Edie and it gives me untold joy. Hee hee.

aaaw Edie is soooo adorable!!! I wish I could cuddle a baby horse! And the bird is so cute as well! Little babies of anything just get you, no?
