Some photos I took around Christmas time (hence the garlands) of a few new touches around our home .....
the mantle is now fixed to the wall ......
we installed some picture rails throughout the house ....

these two rooms got a fresh coat of paint
they hadn't been painted for 12 years ... (since we first moved into our home) and were in much need of a freshen up .....
and it looks a lot better than it did in this post .....
.... amazing what a coat of paint, doors and a few little touches
