A WEEKEND ROAD TRIP

We had a road trip to Tathra on the weekend to visit relatives .....
quite the long drive (about seven hours) .....

always made easier though with a stop off at Berry Sourdough Bakery
for bowls of cafe au lait and a big breakfast (I had the most amazing
roasted swiss brown mushroom salad with poached eggs and hazelnuts) .....

..... and we always take away some prune and custard tarts.

We stopped off at a great vintage store .....

fell in love with this old kitchen dresser .....

.... and many hours later arrived in this beautiful part of the world.

By the look of these photos you wouldn't think it was the middle of winter .....
but it was really quite chilly ....

 perfect for bush walks ....

.... and time spent here in the winter sun,
a really lovely weekend indeed.
