NAPPING

There has been a lot of napping in this household these holidays ....

as well a lots of swims, walks, day trips

 (and in my case eating !!!)

.... can't believe it is almost New Year and 2013 !!!

A CHRISTMAS TREAT

 We spent Christmas day at my mums house which meant we could also spend it with our girl Edie ....

she was very happy to get her present of stale Bourke St bread 

(it's her favorite, really !!!) ....

 then she puckers up for a kiss .....

.... and gives us one of her best smiles,

she really is one special girl !!!

A LITTLE GATHERING

We had an early family Christmas dinner with my dad last night ....

it was such a beautiful summer evening  ....

 

 

 

  ..... we ate lots of yummy food, lit candles and sat out here well into the night.

 (I always forget to take photos of the food or the nights proceedings once everyone arrives, too busy talking eating and drinking, which I suppose is the mark of a good night !!!)

 We called into this shop on the way home on Sunday .....

 we parked in a side street and walked there ....

oh and we bought a very nice pair stools !!!

A LITTLE MORNING STROLL

We stayed in Sydney on Saturday night ...

I couldn't sleep in so I went for a nice early stroll on

 Sunday morning  .....

I love it when the streets are quite and calm ....

(although I did walk past quite a few bars and quite a few people who were still in full partying Saturday night mode !!!)
